Caitlyn Criner

Aletheia Jr. Director

Caitlyn is a huge fan of organization, procrastination, healthy food, ice cream, and things that are opposites.  She is from a tiny town in southwest Virginia and attended James Madison University, where she got her master’s in Elementary Education.  While in college, she got involved in Aletheia and eventually moved to Gainesville to help start Aletheia Gainesville.  Caitlyn oversees Aletheia Jr, which seeks to point our children to Jesus.  She works at the University of Florida and enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Dereck, and son, Trip.

Allie Mondell

Women’s Ministry Leader

Allie is a wife and mom who loves Jesus, tea and British novels. She grew up in Melbourne, FL and studied Mass Communications at the University of South Florida.  While in college she joined Aletheia Tampa and met her husband, J.R. They married in 2011 and relocated in 2012 to help start Aletheia Gainesville. Their twin boys, John and Theo, were born in 2015.  Allie’s vision for the Women’s Ministry is to help nurture an environment of discipleship, service and community for the women of Aletheia Gainesville.

Ginger Gamble

Special Events Team Co-Leader

Ginger grew up in small town North Carolina, a born and bred Tar Heel. She graduated from The University of North Carolina before completing pharmacy school at Campbell University in 2013. She and her husband Brian moved to Gainesville in 2013 and quickly found Aletheia as their church home. The Lord gifted Ginger with a Type A personality which serves her well in helping plan special events for Aletheia and as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Shands. Aletheia serves as her home away from home, full of people who love each other and love Jesus.

Jackie Anderson

Special Events Team Co-Leader

Jackie grew up in Virginia, where she studied mathematics and secondary education at James Madison University. She moved to Florida in 2011 with her husband Kevin and is now mom to Gideon and Josiah. The vision for special events is to both build relationships within our body of believers as well as provide opportunities to reach out and invite others (friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.) to join us in the fun.

Steven Crews

Greeting Team Leader

Steven grew up in the sprawling metropolis of Orlando, Florida. After high school, he moved to Gainesville to attend Santa Fe College in 2007 where he met his beautiful wife, Myra. After graduating Santa Fe, he majored in Christian Studies at The Baptist College of Florida and is currently seeking his Masters in Biblical Studies there. After interning at Mosaic Church of Crestview and River Cross Church, he began attending Aletheia in early 2016. Steven’s vision for the greeting team is that it would serve not only as a first point of contact for first time visitors and guests, but that it would also serve to connect those already in attendance to further involvement with the church.

Myra Crews

Volunteer Coordinator

Myra grew up in Gainesville, Florida with her four siblings. She was dual enrolled at Santa Fe College her senior year of high school where she met her future husband, Steven. After graduating from Santa Fe College, Myra attended the University of South Florida majoring in Communication, Sciences, and Disorders. In 2014, she moved back to Gainesville and married Steven. She also helped to co-lead women’s Bible studies at The Family Church. She began attending Aletheia in January 2016. Myra’s vision for the volunteer ministry is to mobilize the church to be the hands and feet of Christ serving Aletheia, the city of Gainesville, and the world.

Kristen Anderson

Sports Ministry Leader

Kristen is originally from Winchester, Virginia and attended James Madison University where she received her BSN in Nursing. She is currently working at Shands Children’s Hospital as a surgical floor nurse. Kristen loves to cook and bake, play with her awesome nephews (Gideon and Josiah), and live a healthy and active lifestyle. In the community, she is involved with the Running Man Club, a group of individuals from Gainesville that provides workouts each week for free. Kristen came down to Florida in 2012 to join her brother for the church plant after having served two years on STINT in Kazakhstan with CRU. She is excited to use the platform of sports to make Jesus known. Her vision for sports ministry is that all kinds of people would be invited (believers, non believers, people from all over the world) and that they would learn about Jesus, our church, and be loved well.
